This year the US Golf Open in the Hamptons has attracted millions of individuals from around the globe. Most of them are golf lovers and others are taking this golden opportunity to explore the Hamptons. There are many individuals that are planning to only spend time watching golf. The first US Golf Open took place on October 4, 1895, on a nine-hole course at the Newport Country Club in Newport, Rhode Island. The thirty-six, hole competition took place between ten professionals and one amateur. Soon, this gold championship gained immense popularity. Initially, the tournament was dominated by the British until 1911 but the first native-born American won the tournament, Americans soon began participating in large numbers.

1. Gallery Ticket: leads you to the grounds of Shinnecock Hills.
2. Trophy Club Ticket: This ticket provides access to the Gallery, Trophy Club (Tented pavilion on the grounds of Shinnecock Hills), restrooms and air-conditioned seating. The ticket is priced at $20 for the practice round for age 13 – 18 and $40 for the championship round day and $60 for other age groups.
3. 1895 Club Ticket: This ticket provides access to the 1895 Club (all-inclusive tented facility at the grounds of Shinnecock Hills), separate restrooms and air-conditioned seating. The ticket also covers the cost of food and beverages. The ticket is priced at $75 for a practice round day for ages 18 and below and $130 for the championship round day.
